Bringing a little tropical colour to the streets of Manly!
I was commissioned by Oakberry Açaí to design and hand paint a custom storefront mural for their Manly location, just a short walk from the beach.
The design features oversized purple monstera leaves wrapping around the entrance, using Oakberry's signature purple to create something bold, playful and instantly recognisable. I wanted the mural to feel like an extension of the brand while bringing some colour and personality to the building itself.
Being in such a busy part of Manly, the storefront needed to catch your eye from the street. The large scale leaves frame the entrance and help the store stand out amongst the surrounding shops, while tying into the tropical, beachside feel of the location.
I love projects like this where a mural becomes part of the overall identity of a business. It's not just artwork on a wall, it helps create that first impression before someone even walks through the door.
A simple concept, a lot of purple paint and a fun little transformation by the beach.
