Botanica Lane Kirrawee

This hand painted sign was created for Botanica Lane, a beautiful little secret garden and artisan store tucked away in Kirrawee.

This project actually started long before there was any talk of painting. After visiting Botanica Lane for the first time and meeting owner Kat, a quick stop for breakfast next door turned into a long chat about indoor plants, creativity and how a little greenery can completely transform a space. Naturally, we also left with more plants than we could carry.

When the opportunity came up to create a new sign for Botanica Lane, it felt like the perfect fit.

Painted entirely by hand onto the existing timber structure, the design features delicate botanical illustrations inspired by the plants, flowers and greenery found throughout the nursery. The warm, earthy colour palette was chosen to complement the natural timber and surrounding garden, while still bringing plenty of colour and personality to the entrance.

The result is a one of a kind piece of hand painted signage that feels right at home amongst the plants and gives visitors a colourful welcome into Botanica Lane.
